Elixir/Phoenix developer

We are looking for a highly motivated and effective full-stack Elixir/Phoenix developer to join our team.
Client is from Germany. Project is SaaS incident management tools to CTOs, DevOps/SRE, and Support engineers. Main product currently is status pages with integrated monitoring and powerful automations. Team is also working on an on-call service.
We expect:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience with Elixir/Phoenix
- That you’re resourceful and know how to find information in documentations or source code to unblock themselves.
- Good communication skills
- Upper-intermediate level of English (speaking is required)
Responsibilities
- Deliver clean, high-quality and scalable code with reasonable level of unit tests.
- Deliver new features and improvements to the different products and supporting applications that are part of our platform.
- Continue improvement of the codebase to reduce technical debt regularity.
Tech Stack
- Elixir + Phoenix.
- 7 years old codebase, so there is some legacy stuff and a lot of moving parts to get familiar with.
- “Old school” template-based Phoenix application with Boostrap for styles and jQuery for sprinkles of interactivity.
- Some live view.
- Restful API with OpenAPI specifications.
- Postgres for the DB and Oban for background jobs.
- Docker, Docker compose and GitHub actions for deployment and CI/CD.
