Challenge and Solution

Challenge:

The customer asked us to review the UI/UX designs of a platform for connecting wedding video editors and production companies. Its main goal was to streamline communication in the previously fragmented wedding video market, which was spread across dozens of social media and job platforms.

Solution:

We reviewed the customer’s design mockups, conducted a UI/UX audit to identify areas for improvement, implemented those changes, and developed the platform using Bubble, a no-code technology, and JavaScript. This approach enabled us to deliver the project fast and without compromising on feature depth and quality.

Solution 1. Performing a UI/UX Audit

Our team performed a UI/UX audit for the user interface mockups of the Wedding Video Project and then created a full-scale Figma design for the user interface. Traditional job search and social media platforms are geared towards the general public and fail to address the specific needs of wedding video editors and production companies. We have also added a request board, where production companies and independent editors can post their requests for cooperation and rate various profiles.

Solution 3. Organizing Order Information and Payment

Clarity of instructions and streamlined payment are major concerns in the modern wedding video industry. Incorrect instructions can lead to additional work and unnecessary stress. To solve this problem, we have added a basic video management tool that can highlight all requested timestamps for editors after upload and intuitive instruments for describing orders. Wedding video production companies also have access to a well-organized interface for test tasks, which allows them to understand whether particular editors are a good fit for their projects. Lastly, the Wedding Video Project systematizes payments, offering a unified framework for transactions and an escrow system right within the platform.
